For the new office of Coare Architectuur, in the middle of Utrecht's bustling city centre, we were asked to make a functional and aesthetic contribution to the interior with custom-made wall coverings and windowgraphics. Together with Coare, we thought about practical and visually attractive solutions that fit their identity and way of working. The result: workplaces that radiate calm and comfort - with acoustic accents, smart privacy solutions and walls that invite interaction.

Sustainable materials with smart functions

In several conference and meeting rooms, we have created walls of PET felt. This material is not only sustainable (made from recycled PET bottles), but also contributes to pleasant acoustics. In some rooms, whiteboard functions have also been integrated into the wall design - ideal for interactive discussions and creative sessions. The glass walls feature Squid: a subtle self-adhesive textile that provides a warm look as well as extra privacy. And the names we gave the rooms? They remind you that you are in the heart of Utrecht!

Attention to detail in every component

We supervised the project from start to finish - from measuring on site to realisation. During production, we worked with an eye for detail and technical precision: for example, cutouts for screens and power outlets were cut out of the PET felt and whiteboard. PET felt was also used on the ceiling; for this we used narrow horizontal strips, baffles, which give the whole a sleek yet soft look. Our team delivered what it promised: all elements were carefully custom-made and perfectly finished.
