Wayfinding is a strategic element and often the first tool that visitors actively use when entering a building or environment. A good wayfinding-system guides users intuitively through a space. This often concerns locations they are visiting for the first time, such as schools, offices, museums or business parks. Clear routing without moments of doubt or visual clutter is essential.

Every environment has its own dynamics. A hospital requires something else than an office and a school differs from an estate. Who is the visitor and what is the purpose of their journey? Most importantly: which information is required, and when?
